Rohit Kumar Singh
Some organobismuth (III) amides of the type Ar2BiL, (Ar=C6H5, C6F5, C6H4F, L = succinimide and phthallimide) assayed first time for their biological activity, exhibited significant in vitro antitumor activity against human breast adenocarcinoma cell line (MCF-7), mammary cancer (EVSA-7), antibacterial activity against human pathogenic bacteria viz.-Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus and Klebsiela pneumoniae. They also exhibited remarkable antifungal activity against Aspergillus flavus and Aspergillus niger strains. Keywords: Organobismuth (III) amides, Antitumor, Antibacterial, Antifungal activity
